15 days after leaving Laguna, here’s ‘lunch in Nashville.’

This is the meal. Meatloaf. With mashed potato and Brussels sprouts. Had a most excellent time chatting about the past with Charlie. So many amazing stories of music and the people we met along the way. I wish I could share some of the stories from this meal.

Earlier on our first day in Nashville we walked to meet Cindy Alter for lunch at BrickTops. This is the walk there past Vanderbilt University.

We walked past football practice in the park. Fine athletes doing drills.
This is the University team practicing.
Had a most memorable lunch with Cindy, remembering our mutual friend Chris Ghelakis who passed in December.
We both have a special memory of this amazing human-being, my fellow Cretan Greek, whose loss we mourn by celebrating the memories he left. Cindy’s story may well be a movie one day. The first South African singer of a world wide #1 song. Probably the only one to this day.
In 1978, “Substitute” by her band Klout was big news. Cindy now lives in Nashville, songwriting, and performing for those lucky enough to see a legendary Joburg girl.
Walked through Centennial park. Loved the Parthenon, a life size replica of the Athens Parthenon. And the suffragette history.
In 1920, Tennessee became the 36th state to ratify the 19th Amendment, giving all American women the right to vote and it came to be thanks to countless Tennessee women who fought and battled to secure ratification. I was pleased to stand with them today for this photo opportunity.

Then, after dinner, onto Broadway for some music in ‘Music City’. Music and God and Homelessness were all around. Many churches on Broadway. Many music bars.
About 150 stages in those five blocks, with multiple bands playing on each one every night. It is loud. On the street you might here five different Bands banging away, playing almost back to back in the adjoining bars.

Here’s video of some live music on Broadway. Where every bar has a band.
This is a back view of a band from the street.
Live video on my iPhone.
Onto the Whiskey Bent. “Somebody’s Baby.”
Sister Christian
The bands finale ‘Jump’, that was my son Byron’s party piece on drums when he was three. Straight into Rock and Roll.
Back home before midnight. A balmy evening. Still 78f. A lot of energy in this town. After Bourbon Street and Beale Street, this Broadway experience is notably whiter. With less menace in the air.
Back in the Hotel I had an update on the case of Andrew VS U.S Government. Mass murder with premeditation. For their horrific genocide in Palestine. With aggravated Child murder.
In what appears to be admission of guilt, the U.S. Government today announced they will suspend the agreed shipment of 1,800 2,000-pound 'Bunker Buster’ Tent bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs.
Why did they suspend this shipment after sending so many thousands that have been used in mass murder genocide. Did they not know their bombs are responsible for the carnage we see?
Admission of guilt. U.S complicit in mass murder genocide. My case proceeds.
Tomorrow, another day in Nashville before we start the return leg after this excellent visit to Nashville.
